WCPUid Result Questions

This is a discussion about WCPUid Result Questions in the Windows Hardware category; I was checking out something in WCPUid on my dad's and my computerand came across something. . . We both have Athlons-he 700, me 750. But his says Athlon (model 1) and mine says Athlon (model 2) What does this mean, if anything? We both have Slot A processors.

I believe that Model 1 is a .25 micron chip and Model is a .18 Micron chip. Did you get them at the same time , or is one older then the other? You can also tell by the serial number, I forgot which letter is which size chip. I'll find it and post back.

His is an OEM from HP, that was bought in april? Mine is a retail bought in May, I believe
