GeForce's conflict with Win2k & AMD

Hi guys. I have various connections to the net, but one in particular requires a scripted login for authentication. When i type in the username and password the first time and connect, it will authenticate properly.

Win2k freeze

Used to run games fine in win2k, until recently, there would be freezes up to 10 seconds long and then the game would continue working ok. They seemed to be a few minutes apart. The computer has been tested with other operating systems and works perfectly.

Hi Guys, I have keyboard with Power, Sleep and Wake buttons. In Power option, only two buttons are listed. One is Sleep and Other is power, though there seems to be space for three of em'. I have set Sleep to Standby, Power to Hibernate.

A problem i been having on win2k pro.

Sometimes when i am on win2k for a while on even sometimes not for too long i may have like 4 programs to 6 programs up and maybe 2 IE windows up or one but then when i close out a IE window or even a program sometimes my computer will just restart for no reason.

Changing IRQs

I've got all my suff automatically set to IRQ 9 by win 2k (Geforce 2 GTS agp, a3d sound card 56k modem and 10/100 network card) I want to change my Graphics card back to IRQ 11, like i had in 98 but even when i'm logged on as adminstrator the option to use manual settings is ghosted.

DirectX 8 and Screen Refresh/Mode Change

My viewsonic 790 makes a loud and long delay every time there is drastic screen mode change (say from 100hz 1024. x786 to 60hz 640x480). It was never a problem for me before DirectX8 because i could either use a refresh rate program (Nvresfix) or Dxdiag's override function to set every to 100hz.

Any way to uninstall a Win2K upgrade?

Aside from starting all over? When I upgraded from 98 to ME it lets you uninstall the ME upgrade, is it possible to do the same from Win2K back to ME? Just curious. Thanks. .

In the Hardware section of NTcompatible, it advises that the software that comes with the drive should not be used in Windows 2000, well. . if i dont use the stuff that comes with the drive, what do i use?? Thanks in advance, Nathan Collins.
