Please Help!!:Working Title: win2k and the missing video ove

I can't get any of the DVD or TV tuner to load. I keep getting an error saying that my problem is either the vid res is wrong or vid is in use by another app. Everything else seems to work fine. Most recent drivers, bios, etc.

Reinstalling Win2k - Major Problem - Help

OK, decided to reinstall Win2k over the top of my present setup of Win2k as had a few config problems with some software - nothing major, but for ease decided to reinstall Win2k. Anyway, durring the first part of setup - when its detecting mouse etc, half way through I get the blue screen saying memory dump.

I have a Dual P3 550, 256SDRAM, SBlive!, i740, Promise ATA100, IBM DTLA 15GB. On a QDI BrillianX 4 mobo. In linux my system runs sweet. . . . but as soon as i go to Win2k Pro everthing starts pissing me off.

Home networking trouble between 2k and 98....

I'm running Win2k Pro on my machine in my basement. My brother is running Win98 in his room. I'm using a 10Mbit hub between them. I'm trying to set up his machine to use my printer over the network, but whenever I try to set it up on his machine, I get a message saying that I have no permissions.

Sound Blaster Live! and My Microsoft Joypad...

Does anyone know about a problem with the sound blaster Live!card when they try to use a joypad with with Windows 2000? The joypad keeps showing up as OK then Not connected, and then back to OK again!! I have checked the pad is connected, but this isn't the problem.

Hello all, maybe someone had same problem and successfully solved it- Tiberian Sun shows Memory cannot be read and refuses to run at all. It happened after installing SP1 and new mobo and videocard. .

Please Help - Gigabyte 815 MoBo and Win2000 problem

A friend of mine has the Gigabyte 815. I think it is the GA-6OXM7E(-1) model. Whenever we have tried to install Win 2000 Pro all is fine. As soon as it starts multi tasking or straining a little, the mouse stop responding, then basically responds in the reverse direction.

I have this HomeConnect 3C450 NIC and am using it to connect to a. EDU connection. I want to run this card under Win2K. . is there some drivers available somewhere, or can I use another 3Com NIC driver that is compatible under Win2K? Please respond with any answers you may have.

My NT 4 workstation has a dsl connection and I would like to network my wife's Win 98 laptop to it. I have an additional nic card and she has a pcmcia card and i have a crossover cable connecting the two.

Need For Speed 2 SE works in W2k....

Yeah I got NFS 2 SE to work under Win2k. THe only thing is that I had it installed in Win98, and then when I booted up Win2k, and double clicked the NFS2SE EXE file, the game ran without a hitch. It even emulated Glide on my GeForce2MX with the help of the MGLIDE wrapper.
