This is a discussion about SetupX.dll in the Legacy OS category; I keep getting this error <insert program name here> has caused an error in setupx. dll everytime I try to install a program. Though, this error does not occur when running winME under VMWARE Linux.

Reinstall original setupx.dll as outilined in.

I continue to get this problem even after deleting setupx.dll and reinstalling winblows
