I got a HP Omnibook 4150 with the IBM DADA-26480 6. 4GB harddrive. Now when i look at hp's webpage there is a bios especially made for win2000, that is installed. After i did a clean installation of win2000.

Do i use Win 2000 or Win NT drivers? I tried one set of Win NT drivers (official 631) but with no luck. Also, specifically which versions might yield the most stability or the best stability/performance ratio? ANY information at all would be greatly appreciated.

Ok, I loaded the new Thrustmaster ver 2. 29 Afterburner Drivers (TMapper) and now seem to have 2 new problems???? the TSR loads and stays loaded. And Mechwarrior 4 actually uses it too! Even has a popup message saying the profile is being applied! COOL! But,.

OK, borke my CD-Rom a while back, decided to pick up a cheap DVD-Rom to replace it, got the at Circuit City today. Hardware install is fine - master of the second IDE channel, all alone. Reading CDs fine so far.

hey all, my problem is my video and audio are sharing the same interrupt (11), i have an epox 8k-ta mobo and an asus tnt2 magic, the audio is via onboard and i'm running win 2k professional. under my win98se installation, which is ghosted - not dual booted, i sometimes had the same problem.

Ok, I screwed up. I was messing around with Win2k services to see which ones I can turn off. So I stopped and disabled a few (specifically Remote Procedure, Routing and Remote access, System Event Notification and Task Scheduler).

For some reason, every time after I restart and then run Internet Explorer, it tells me that it is not the default web browser and asks if I want to set it as the default (which I do). This gets really annoying after awhile.
