I just know that doing what I want to do with Outlook 2000 has got to be really easy. I just can't seem to find how. OK. We have a list of e-mail addresses. We want to send an e-mail now and again to everyone on this list.

Win2k System Log problem

I am getting this message whenever I bootup and at the log-in screen Win2k say: System Log is full. So I went to Event Viewer and clear the log and restart the computer. I would get this message again and I go WTF??? It can't get full in 2 mins.

hi everyone. i have profiles setup in winME. whenever someone comes over, i tell them to simply click on Cancel when they see the logon prompt. and that, obviously, takes you to the default profile. i have, however, noticed something weird with the user accounts.

Is ata100 hard drive supposed to use 75% of cpu when operati

when i do a disk speed check my hard drive is going 33 kb/s but it shows using 75% of my cpu. it is a maxtor 30G on a maxtor promise ata100 pci card. when i was using my maxtor 7G ata33 drive it would go 15 kb/s but would only use 10% max of my cpu.

Hi - this should be an easy question for you. I am running NT4 SP5 and am about to update to Win2k. For various reasons I am going to update and not do a clean install, and yes, I am aware of the implications of that step.

flashing textures in MW4 under W2k

hi guys tis the first time i'm posting here i have a problem with MW4 under W2k. any driver newer than 6. 47 gives me flashing textures. i've set vsync on and off to no avail. i've left everything to default setting otherwise Also with anything newer than 6.

OK , now that there are umteen sets of detonator drivers, what ones are the best?? What have you guys found to be the best in 2000 with a Geforce 2 GTS ? what are the best for DX 7 ? and witch one for DX8 ? I want to find a set and stick to it.

Hi Having problems with Xvt on Win2K. Found somewhere that you need to run z_XVT__. exe instead of the normal XWINGTIE. exe. When I do so, I get a black screen, then the mouse cursor flashes in the upper left corner for a split-second, and then 2 seconds later, I'm back at the desktop.

ICS alternatives + Firewall.

Hi. Does anyone know of any ICS alternatives that *fully* support ICQ and NetMeeting ? The other thing to mention is a firewall. I was using ZoneAlarm Pro, but this is not fully compitable with dual systems, and doesn't seem to work fully with ICS and ICQ either.

Ok. . . I'm running NAV2K1, with Office2K and Project 2K. When ever I start Word, Excel, Project, it loads, then closes about 5 secs after the load. Tried reinstalling it but now luck. The problem does not happen when I just have Office2K installed and not Project2K.

i've seen quite a few posts about sharing irq's in w2k. here is a little info on it. . . simple explanation. devices are mapped thru other devices. for instance the microsoft usb joystick is mapped thru the agp port, the gameport on the soundcard and the midi device, if there is one.

When I try to go into hibernation, I get a dialog box that states that my HP 8100 CD-RW driver will not allow it. This is the default driver that was installed by Win2k. HP has no updated 8100 drivers on their web site.
