Hi there, again several little problems are bugging me: EAW: Although I figured out, how to play under W2K, I´m now stuck with the network/internet play options. If I get into the multiplayer screen, the only button I can press is cancel.

UT does work, but in only in Window Mode It works in Full screen, but only with Software Rendering. I tried Creative Drivers,Detanator Drivers 6. 31,6. 50,7. 17. I've got a Geforce DRR. I didn't have this problem before, but suddenly it didn't work.

Remote Administration on 2k?

Is there a way to remotly control task manager? For instance if I run a app that completly locks my system, even from ctrl-alt-delete I wanna be able to go to my other system, get into task manager on the system thats locked up, and terminate the app.

Well this isnt really my problem, but a friends. He got the Radeon to use in his Gigabyte GA-5AX and there are some major problems. DVD will play,but it'll lock up after like 10 seconds. Same deal with 3dmark.

Very interesting, but 3dfx's explanation for your problem with only using one of the VSA100 chips is cause there not unified, so windows only thinks you have half of what is really there but it will still use it.

I have a direct3d problem i dont know how to fix it. . check this out. . im tryin to run nascar 4 in direct3d mode but when i do the letters at the main menu are screwed up and if i try to run game i get a blue screen of death.

OK So I installed Whistler/Windows XP (whatever), yesterday. First of all it didn't support my USB modem (ComeOne light 56k) That's pretty bad considering it's USB and was released last year. Second, I have an external SCSI HD and windows usually detects it as movable device and I always have to change it.

why does my trash can empty so sloooowwww?

ever since i put in a 30G hard drive my recycle bin takes forever to empty, even if it is one 1k file or a hundred 3M files. When i click empty recycle bin it takes about 15 seconds to empty when it used to take about 2 seconds with my 7G drive.

I was wondering if it's possible to use 2 cable modems with the same PC (running w2k). And thereby getting 2xbandwidth ?? The modem in question is the SurfBoard 3100 - Splitting the coaxial cable should be easy enough - and by adding an extra network card it should be possible to connect both modems to the PC - but ...

i have a pc with two similar IBM UW SCSI drives. . . . OS is win2k pro. . . on drive has NTFS and the other FAT32. . . . the one with NTFS drive is extremly slow. . about 500kb/s the other with FAT32 doeas about 5MB/s.

i have a PC with win2000 pro with a proxy software running (sambar). the tcp/ip protocoll is when the server is online for a few hours completly crashed. win2k doesn't now any IP adresses in the lan anymore.
