Leadtek GTS Problems

I have a Winfast Geforce 2 GTS 64 MB card and in most games it kicks butt. But some games look as if im running a voodoo 1 so i am forced to go to win98 with better results but still not satisfying. Anybody else ever have this problem.

When I installed Win2k Pro on my computer, I reformatted my entire hard drive first. Since I couldn't find my Office '97 CD, I installed a stand-alone copy of MS Word 2000. Word ran great until recently, when it began to exhibit extremely odd behavior.

OK - here's the story. I was running NT4 and upgraded to win2k with no problems. Half life ran under NT and ran under 2000. Fine. Then I had to reformat my disk and reinstall Win2k. Since then I have taken the opportunity to load the most recent video drivers for my Matrox G400 Max(5.

OK. . . i got me a dual boot. Win2k for almost everything and 98 for some programs i need for school (Circuitmaker 2000 doesnt print very well in 2k, winspool errors) anyways, I have norton utils 2000 and i was jsut about to use speed disk, but then i got to thinking.

The last time i installed SP1, i had to reinstall win2k because after installing, it said that the IDE controllers did not work. Now, I want to try to instal SP1 again, but i need someway of restoring my old drivers if it screws my pc up again.

The game loads up fine, and loads all the textures when trying to start a race, but then it kicks me back to the desktop. Anyone who knows how make this game work in Win2k? From what I've read some have no problems with it, and others have the same problem as me.

Can someone point me to the BEST/FASTEST Cd Ripper for 2k. . I want GOOD speed. (i have a Plextor 12. 10. 32) which is one of the best in ripping. . i want to take advantage of it. . and it has to have CDDB2 access.

I'm running Terminal Services on a box on one side of a router (my private LAN). Of course this can be easily accessed with no probs from any computer on the LAN, but it cannot be accessed outside of the LAN (as it's currently configured).

System Files on All NTFS Partitions?

When I run the disk defrag utility in Win2k and analyze my partitions each partition, no matter what is on the drive has a chunk of space that is green, which means system files. I know on the C: that is the swap file but on a partition that just stores files?.
