System Files on All NTFS Partitions?

This is a discussion about System Files on All NTFS Partitions? in the Windows Hardware category; When I run the disk defrag utility in Win2k and analyze my partitions each partition, no matter what is on the drive has a chunk of space that is green, which means system files. I know on the C: that is the swap file but on a partition that just stores files?.
