well i had it working for a while then i tried some newer drivers i think not for sure but it made the game lose some of the graphics and look all wacko after i changed drivers so which drivers have the best direct3d support anyone know?

I'm going to be getting a new mouse before long. . . Wondering what everyone here regards as the best mouse. I've had an Intellimouse Explorer, the non-neutered intellimouse, the logitech optical wheel mouse, the wireless mouseman, and am currently using a Boomslang 2000.

After beta2, I'm using XP as my only os now. So I started to investigate everything. The first thing I noticed is low harddsik performance. First I tried coping big files between my partitions. I checked with taskinfo's fat read n write.

Winfast GeForce 2 has "blips" in 2k games

Ok, I just got my MSI i815 Pro and my Leadtek winfast Geforce 2 GTS Pro. When i play games like THPS2, Madden 2001, Hitman , and Half Life i get these little white blips. They look like little white flashes that come up randomly.

I have a small network in my home and cannot host or join any 'network' games regardless of which machine hosts or is joining. Both machines are on Win 2K Pro. Both 'see' each other on the network, and respond to ping's and tracert's (using either the macine names or their IP's).

Has anyone ever come across a problem creating a disk image with Virtual CD 3. 0. 8 on certain disks, such as Delta Force: Land Warrior? I am pretty sure it is because of the copyright protection, but am trying to find a work around so I can make this image.

Anyone out there managed to get this installed on a system with a Soyo 6BA+ 100 MB? I get BSOD when the setup GUI try's to load then the box reboots to fast to see what the BSOD message is. . Any bios setting thoughts would be appreciate, tried two different vid cards (G MX and Voodoo 3).

I was wondering what is people's opinion on Windows ME? You guys like ME better than 98SE? I am occasional gamer and I also watch DVD movies with my system too. Also, Windows 2000 is not a choice here.

Win2k use my hd too often versus win 98 ?

Hi , i use a p3 800 with 256 megs cas 222 and a 30 gig maxtor 7200 rpm. I use win 2k prof. only to browse or play games. But my computer use my hd too much , well compared to win 98. I set the pagefile to 384-384 on my c partiton where's the win 2k is.

I downloaded nfs3 fix from here, and did all as was written in readme file. But I fail to run the game. I click on nfs3. exe, and nothing happens (clock icon appears just for second, and that is it).

I have a Win2k Pro PC and it takes forever for it to pull up anything in My Network Places. It just sits there for a long while then finally brings up the other PC's on the network. I am using TCP/IP for the internet, and NetBEUI for my local shares.

Wingman mouse button problems

Anybody got any idea why my Wingman mouse seems to have problems with holding both mice buttons down (as in, the left and right buttons). It doesn't work, and it's a problem in the games that require it (Black and White, most recently).
