CS + win2k pro = nv4_mini.sys crash???

I load into CS and play for about 10 min or so. . then I get a blue screen saying something about nv4_mini. sys and nbf. sys. I was using 12. 40 nvidia drivers and then moved to 10. 80 but still the same thing.

Autorun.ini PLEASE HELP!

Been playing around with autorun. ini's and was wondering if there was a program available to fool Windows into thinking that a folder is really a CDROM, the reason i want to do this is because i am gonna make a few custom utility cd's and want to test the autorun files.

Hi. I downloaded the latest drivers for this modem and every time I try to connect to the internet, I get an error message (I cannot remember it exactly. . . it mentioned something about modem failure I think).

I was just wondering if anybody else was having a problem like the one I am having with Unreal Tournament in Win2k. It seems to lock up periodically while in game play, sometimes shortly after I started playing, and sometimes after several matches.

2475 and office2000 swedish

The problem is that I can´t install office 2000 swedish oc my machine whem runing win xp (2475). The windows file protection keeps poping up, 2 or 3 times, and after that the installation quits. The really funny part is that i can install outlook 2000 from office 2000 but not word 2000, that´s the one I need.

I recently created a power user account on my 2k system, and tried to change the Administrator login to my own login name. Some how I've now lost that Administrator login, I do have another one that is part of the administrator group but it doesn't seem to have the same abilities.

I'm willing to bet, that even if you do crack your installation of XP Final, which you probably will 2 days after it's released, chances are, Microsoft is going to try to make it a pain in the *** to run a cracked install.

ok i just bought a USR 56k modem from a local computer retailer, when i install it, it was detected find and asked for the drivers. OK so far so good, but when i popped in the disk that came with it, it did not find any drivers.

Has anybody out there got a dvd driver which would work for a asus e608 in windows2000. The windows2000 one on the disc is complete ****. It will only play 3 of my 10 zone 4 discs. Thanks. .

Can anyone help? I upgraded to 2000 & I'm having trouble with my 3dfx Voodoo 3 2000 PCI. I have latest DirectX and 3dfx drivers, and have followed the advice posted on NT Compatible (in the 3dfx FAQ).

Wenn I try to start my windows with the admin account, then it says that it could not open it, and that it will make a temp admin account. . . and I don't know what to do about it. . . Does anyone know what I can do to make it work proberly.

Could anyone help? I cannot get the properties on my files update correctly. when I higlight a file (ie text file)that I know i have modified and look at it's properties it does not reflect that I just modefied it it continues to state the old date what gives ???? thanks in advance.

Hi I'm using internet explorer 5. 5 and notice that when I scrole through a page it dosen't move smoothly, it's rather jumpy. Has anyone else had this problem? It's not a big problem I was just wondering if there was a quick fix.

I recently wiped my friends packard bell PC and installed win2k on it. Works ok. Doesn't support ACPI, dunno why as the bios has ACPI options in it, doesn't matter though as hibernate still works. The main problem is my friends packard bell keyboard has a power button on it which on the pre installed win98 he used ...

I use to have both of my systems connected together with WinMe. They both have ethernet cards and both are connected to a hub which is connected to a cable modem. I used to be able to transfer files and play LAN games without a hitch.

when I try to install sisoftsandra2001, 3dmark2000, powerdvd, windvd, hdtach. . . . I get the same error at the beginning of the installition that : windows can't uncompress and copy the setup files.
