Login help

This is a discussion about Login help in the Windows Software category; I recently created a power user account on my 2k system, and tried to change the Administrator login to my own login name. Some how I've now lost that Administrator login, I do have another one that is part of the administrator group but it doesn't seem to have the same abilities.

I recently created a power user account on my 2k system, and tried to change the Administrator login to my own login name. Some how I've now lost that Administrator login, I do have another one that is part of the administrator group but it doesn't seem to have the same abilities. Is there someway I could get this back? If so, I'd also would like to move all the settings, icons, and files over to the power user login so I don't have to waste time and space re-installing everything I had under the administrator login. Thanks.

all you ahve to do is login with the other admin account you have and then go to users in control panel.then highlight the "Administrator" user in the lst and press "set password".It will not ask you for the old password since you are logged in as an admin, so all you have to do is set a new password and that's it.
