Video/TV Board recommendation

tylau
Please recommend a HARDWARE based MPEG-1 encoder board, with TV/FM tuner on board, and must be work with Geforce2 in W2K/XP, possibly on the cheap side. It is not needed for me to edit with an AVI file nor do I need to have MJPEG thingy.

Vesa?

Epistax
Is there any way at all to enable Vesa 1. 0 while running win2k? The game currently in question is Death Rally, but many others also want Vesa. The video card I happen to be using is Geforce 2 Go but that shouldn't matter.

Accelenation. com has posted their review on the Acorp 6A815EPD dual i815EP motherboard. They said it couldn´t be done, but the people at Acorp have gone and done it. Stop windows media player autoplay!

GTwannabe
With W2k SP2 and Windows media player 7. 1, there is an irritating feature I want to disable. Whenever I highlight a media (mp3, mpeg, etc) file, WMP automatically plays it in the preview window. This is incredibly annoying! I don't have Single Click enabled.

Windows XP delay? Gotta love it!

clutch
Check this out: If you can't beat 'em, sue them again. Count on 2 things: 1. More lawsuit BS 2. MS rushing WinXP out to beat any possible injunction Both of which hurt the OS. I am pretty sure I'll be hanging back until SP1 on this critter.

Gamma VERY high after any ending 3d app with my GF256

Dazultra2000
It's only started today, but whenever I quit out of any fullscreen 3d accelerated game, be it opengl or direct3d, my desktop gamma is ridiculously high. I then have to load up the display properties and go to the gamma control, upon which the gamma returns to normal, without me modifying any controls.

Creatives Audigy line and the Via bug(fix)

Preacher
Before the patch, when using a CL soundcard we had file corruption. After the patch, we have static while playing sound files (well, at least I have). My question is if CLs Audigy line is going to have that static too in combination with the VIA patch or not.
