I've got a PC from home that I want to be able to control it from work. Basically I have HomeSeer installed and I'd like to control it from work from time to time. So far I have pcAnywhere installed on both PCs and I was able to get into the home PC from work no problem.

since VCDs take up about 2 650MB CDs, i would like to download a program that can compress movies on VCDs into 1 file so i can burn it onto 1 CD. does any one know of a good free program that can do this? thanks.

I love the feature of seeing a little preview of all my images instead of the application's icon. I had Corel Draw 8 and everything worked fine. Then I got Corel Draw 10, and after installing it the preview of jpg images are gone, and I can't associate jpg files to Corel Photopaint.

Every couple of minutes I get adds poping up through IE. I thought that it was some kind of spyware so I ran Ad-aware 5. 5 to try and get rid of them. This didn't work. I am still getting adds every couple of minutes.

Hi, the wheel of my Logitech-Mouse doesn't work with MaxPayne and Quake3Arena in Windows 2000. I have installed DX8, ServicePack2 and the newest Logitech-driver. On Windows 98SE it works very well and on standard Win-Apps in Win2k it works too.
