Slow CD Access

I'm running Win2k and my system slows down to a crawling pace when I try to read a CD. When I put the CD in the CD-ROM, it takes almost a minute for Windows Explorer to read the CD. I've tried three different CD drives (two 40x and one 32x) and they all behave the same way.

I have a virus in my system volume. How do I get rid of it? Nortons Antivirus says my system is clean but I keep getting an error saying I have this virus and Nortor's has denied access to the file, but I keep getting this pop up and it take a ton of clicks to get rid of it.

Have resident evil2 installed and running fine except for the save games. When you save a game and try to reload it it comes up with load failure. Also the actual text on the load screen isnt visable.

Weird mp3 problem!!!

All of my mp3 files have the defalt windows icon (dont know what it is called but it is white with the windows flag on it). I tried reinstalling winamp to see if that helped. Winamp is my defalt mp3 player if that also helps.

Running IIS on NT4 with service pack 4, and all the latest security patches. When I launch the IIS MMC and look at the websites and ftp sites they are all STOPPED and have lost their names. For example it looks like FTP Site #1 Stopped FTP Site #2 Stopped.

Slipstreaming IE5.5 onto Win2k CD?

Considering Service Packs can be slipstreamed back onto a Win2K CD, i'm curious, could the same be done with IE5. 5 and in the future maybe IE6 That would be cool And hey, it would be typically Micro$oft anyway, keeping the dominance in the Browser field.

I know this program is quite old and discontinued, but I need to find out if it is compatible with win2K or not. I know that Adobe's photoshop is, but i NEED photostyler since my co-workers will not give it up for anything in the world.
