Does anyone know if the Abit KT7A-RAID motherboard supports an Athlon 1. 4Ghz? If so, what FSB and multiplier do you have to use? What CPU are you using the 200 or the 266 version? TIA.

HELP! "System Idle Process" almost freezes compute

Though it only takes 16k of memmory, at some times it takes about 99% of CPU usage, which naturally causes the system to severely slow down and have big lag in responsiveness! GideonTech. com has posted a review on the Cyber Cooler P-8000. . . I do have to commend the good design of this clip. The clips that have the hinge that rocks back and forth are always easier to push down on when installing it onto a motherboard.

I recently installed Service Pack 2 for Windows 2000 and when I launch Quake II or Quake IIIA, like 30 seconds into the game a blue screen appears really fast and my computer reboots! Whats the deal??? This did not happen before the SP2 installation.

small problem with burning cd's under 2000

I have noticed that when i try to burn cd's on the fly under win 2000 i get an error msg. in nero it says reading data failed and in disk juggler it comes up with a buffer error. Everything is ok when i copy disks straight from my HD so i dont think its the cd writer thats at fault.

Random Pauses in WINDOWS XP

Running build 2600. I have noticed on a few occasions, WIN XP will like lock, then 10-20 sec later, i can move the mouse (for 2 secounds), then it locks again, then 10-20 sec later can move the mouse (for 2 secounds).
