Hi there! I have created a new username for accessing my FTP server which is running under IIS. Everything works fine but I don't want this user to be shown in Welcome screen. . . Under Local Security Plicy I tried to add this username to Deny Logon Locally line, but then I am not able to logon to my FTP from anywhere.

I know in Windows 2000/XP you can use Sysprep. exe to strip the uniqueness and force windows to rebuild its plug-n-play hardware database, but what utility will let me do this to a win98 install? With my old Geforce2 MX, the Nvidia drivers tab had a Digital Vibrance Control setting which made the colors look more richer. Is there a similar utility available that can enrich colors for your desktop with other video cards like ATI?.

GTA3 - Install Problem!!

I am trying to get GTA3 installed onto my other pc to see how it runs etc. Its an AMD Duron 900Mhz, ECS K7S5A mobo, 256MB Crucial ram, Voodoo3, SB Live 1024, etc running on a new install of Win2k Pro with SP2 It all runs quite well and its really fast.

I know someone probably have posted this in the past and I musted have missed it. I have some W2k client on a network (mostly NT 4 wks). Each time a client computers connect to a network a script is run to map drives, synch clock with the server clock, etc.

How about a small chat room? We seem to be online mostly at similar times. I think it would be nice to talk live, especially during troubleshoots. Con is, it will probably kill the forum. (I would have posted this on Feedback, and almost did but more people seems to visit here.

Handshaking Sound Problem

Hi I've reseloved the problem with the internal modem, i've installed it but now the problem is that tha handshaking sound it's always active also when i'm already connected to the internet. I think that this problem depend on the fact that the drivers are not the right one even if the modem work perfectly.

Setting up server for IP printing in 2000, how to?

I have a Windows 2000 print server with a Lexmark 4039, which I need to set up so that other machines in the office can IP print to it. I installed the TCP/IP printer sharing service, but other machines can't print to it when configured to use its IP addy.
