Do they make PCMCIA video cards? It would seem that a market would exist for one. While my ATI rage mobility works OK, it would be great to be able to upgrade the video card for higher graphics performance.

Problem 1. My brother has a voodoo 2 pci video card, and he has just installed windows xp home and the cd that came with the video card does not support windows xp. i have gone to voodoofiles. com but they only have win xp voodoo 2 drivers for glide and open gl.

in X-Com i use the sound emulator to get the sound to work, but every so often you get to a point where the whole game continually crashes. . . . . . . . . . . you cant get past it. . . . . . load it up and it crashes again.

Just saw this and thought. . . hmmmm Authough it wasnt Tom that wrote this i thought it was pretty bad, THG seems to change its allegiance every few months. I remember not long ago when i would have been saying how he could almost have been getting paid my AMD.

I got this message when Intalling: The system does not meet the minimum processor speed requirements. You will most likely have performance problems running the game, which can be reduced by lowering detail settings in the nwconfig program.

Does anyone know how to get foreign language fonts to display in Yahoo mail? I can get foreign characters on websites to display fine when using IE. However, when I check any e-mail that contains foreign language fonts such as Japanese or Chinese, it's displayed as gibberish.

I have tried to install F-15 by running setup. exe under NT 4. 0 SP5 compatibility mode (using acompat. exe) but the Copying files. . . progress would go about 2 ticks on the bar and then just seem to be stuck with the CD just spinnning away.

XP sees Benq 48x16x48 as CD/DVD

Hello, I just installed Benq 48x16x48 (former Acer) and XP does not recognise it as CD-RW. It thinks it is CD/DVD and CDRWin does not see any recordable devices also. I installed latest Adaptec ASPI drivers 4.

I hate my Sound Blaster Live! its nothing but grief now, crackling, popping, you all know what the SB Live! can be like. Especially me with a VIA Chipset. (KX133) So, I want a new card, it should support all of those 3D APIs and have 4 speaker output.
