Does anyone know of a freeware tweaking program that has a lot of options and actually works. I am not talking about a trial. Just to let you know. Thanks for your response(s). .

Deus Ex, Unreal Gold, and Unreal Tournament, all of these games run with very distorted/crackling sound under Windows XP Pro for me, this happens 9 times out of 10. What I don't understand is how sometimes it works perfectly fine, but if you exit the program and relaunch it, the crackling returns.

No error messages , Immortal. I doudle-click the icon , thps2 window run , ok. But 2-3 in seconds , thps2 window closing. But thanks for ýntrest. I'm very happy now. And I can't speak english , ok , I Can speak but little.

Just saw those new Apple commericials and wast pretty amazed at how bad they have gotten. Nothing turns me off of a company like blatant lying. Apple has turned a new low. .

mmm i just have a general enquiry. . . . reagard to windows 2000 pro and windows xp pro , i just thinking to buy a new pc. . . . but i still not decide , which OS i wanna use , either windows 2000 pro or XP Pro.
Removing / Reinstalling Detonator drivers

What is the correct procedure to do this? Right now, I go into control panel, add/remove, uninstall them. Then I reboot, and windows detects vga then gf3 adapter. It installs its default nvidia drivers, then I just run the exe file for the new dets, and install.

Hi all, Im having problems with IE6 on XP. It seems after a reboot, when i launched internet explorer and went on different sites, they all seemed 'bigger' than before. As in text size, and image size.

I thought this was pretty cool: Basically, you can compile and run C# apps in Linux, and there are a couple of other languages they are working on as well (one for GNOME GUI apps and another named Vorbis#).

For some reason, using Word XP as my e-mail editor for Outlook XP, I cannot access my contacts/address book through Word by clicking the To. . . button. It comes up with the error message The address list could not be displayed.
need an easy way to get filmstrip view in subdirectories

i am always creating new folders in the My Pictures folder, and i want every folder to be a filmstrip, but i hate having to always go through each one and set the attribute. is there any simple program that can set all subdirectories of the My Pictures folder to a filmstrip? or a simple command i can type? thanks.

For all you eagerly awaiting SP3 for Win2k, I've just received my regular e-mail from Sunbelt Win2k News. Here is what they have to say: The WinInformant site reported that MS has indefinitely delayed the third service pack for W2K according to internal documents they saw recently.

customizing folders

hey. . my drive D:\ root directory is customized for picture tasks but there are no pictures in it. i want to remove the customization but i don't know how. the usual customization option that is available in any other folder isn't available in this directory.
