Taskbar not refreshing properly

Can someone tell me why when I close an application, it's button goes from the taskbar, but a space is left in its place. Usually when you close a program the other buttons on the taskbar resize themselves to fill the gap left by the closed program, and thus make the most efficient use of taskbar space.

Re-sized partitions and lost "C"

I have a dual boot system with 5 partitions; C = Win98SE, D = swapfile, E = data, F = Win2K, E = temporary storage of ghost files. I resized my partitions (using partition magic 5) and lost the ability to boot to C (my win98 OS) but I can still boot to F (my W2K OS).

Slow Network connection

I have a P4 1. 7 system with 256K RAMDAC. I have a 100mb network card but for some reason the network connection is VERY slow. The 100 light is lit on the card and on the network switch but it is transferring slower than 10mb.

Internet Connection Sharing Error code 783

Whenever I try enabling ICS I get an error message 783 and the ICS blocks automatically unchecks itself. I am running Windows 2K on both computers and have a good working netword between the two. My connection is an external DSL modem that runs through a USB port.

It's a directory listing creator (much like this awesome little TreePrint util I used to use) that not only creates listings but also has a listing manager that can search the created txt files for file/directory names listed during the scan.

i have sound blaster live! 5. 1 n when i updated 2 the newest drivers it messed up the sound everytime i listened 2 music or watched movies on my comp i always hear scratches n it seems 2 slow down the movie since the music seems 2 be going slower any1 kno wat the prob is?.

The shared users thing is cool, but...

The shared users thing is cool, but it causes some issues with the last visited functionality. Apparantly, the last visited entry is also shared between sites. For instance, when I go to NTC and click on view posts since last visit, it shows me the posts since the last time I visited either NTC or the new LC site.

i cant get two xp systems to share files over the network. here is the error i get: - Workgroup - \\Turk(computer name) is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions.
