VPCShExH.dll can't be deleted after Virtual PC unistalled

Can anyone tell me how to remove a. dll file (specifically VPCShExH. dll) from my system that got installed with Virtual PC 4? I uninstalled the Prog from add/remove as usual and then tried rebooting and deleting the C:\Program Files\Connectix Virtual PC folder.

Hey- I just got the game American McGee's Alice this past weekend, but everytime I start playing the game, my screen goes black like it crashed but I can still hear sound playing. 8) It says that Alice isn't compatible with Win2k; however, it installed just fine on my other two computers and plays fine.

when I burned a disk with a lot of. txt files on the work, they of some strange reason came in capital letters, and many '_'. . . very annoying. To save time, how do I make a. bat or like that renames stuff to the same but just changes from capital to lower-case letters? (OS MSXP).

Hello, Does anyone here know of a software package that works with DVD's just like Adaptec DirectCd works with CD's. That is makes a dvd writable just like a floppy. Thanks. .

Hai there My problem is: When i want to start-up my computer he gifs a couple of long beeps. The computer keeps beeping 'till pull out the powercable. What is the problem. . . !!!???? Please help me with this.

Boot Menu Disappeared?!

Hi I just did a fresh install of XP on drive D. Then I realise that 98SE on C needed cleaning out so I did the same with 98SE. Now my boot menu has disappeared! How do I get it back? Thanks. Mak.

Hey dude,how goes it. Have'nt seen you from the old HP days. . . Well what I need to know is what can I safely disable or turn manual in services. I'm on a network with one other pc via router. I went to a web page (forgot wich one)and followed the advice from there and screwed things up very badly.

Hey I just recently did a test with sisoft sandra on my ata100 hdd that's on the promise controller and the score was way below what it should have been. . . . the burst read was only 21M/s which is very low.

IIS Stopped working?!

Hi MY IIS 5. 1 (on XP) has been working fine for ages. However, a few months ago, it stopped starting automatically and each time I rebooted, I had to start it manually. Anyway, it still worked fine.

NTLDR not found after installing SP3

After installing SP3 on Win2k Server with SP2 on reboot I got this message: NTLDR not found. And nothing could be done: neither FIXBOOT nor FIXMBR from recovery console helped. Recovery from diskettes didn't fix the problem too.

How do I change the default "Programs"-Folder?

Hi there, is there any way to change the default path for the Programs-Folder? By default, it's C:\Programs. . . but I would like to change it to D:\Programs. . . On Win9x or WinXP, it was possible to change it using TweakXP (a tweak tool).
