Is it possible at all to run this game when logged into Win2k using an account without Administrator (r00t) privileges? I tried and so far, no success. . . when I install the game as power-user, the installer fails to create a registry key, but copies the files and finishes the installation.

Everytime I go over to a friend's house about every other week McAfee VirusScan 6. 0 is screwed up. He doesn't know much about comps. I go over their to do the updates for it and most of the time it does not even start up.

FF7 Problems

I'm running Win2k SP2 and I can't get any of the fixes mentioned for FF7 to work. When I start up the program, nothing happens until I hit enter, and then I can choose new game, and from then on absolutely nothing happens and I have to end task.

strange dos mouse behaviour in win2k

I have a strange problem with my mouse in certain dos games under win2k. In about four or five of them (some run just fine), the mouse cursor appears to be confined to a rectangular portion of the screen, usually the top left, and the cursor will not move out of that area (but it will move within it).

found this cool app that will easily hack your UXTheme. dll (Windows XP). It's not like the uxtheme. dll patcher from tgtsoft, cause this app actually puts the dlls in the right places without booting to safe-mode It's more like StyleXP without the fancy gui and registration.

Hi, Using Win2k SP1 and SP2, AMD K7 1. 4GHz Matrox G450 DX8. 1. Rayman 2 installs and runs, but if I try to change resolution from low to either medium or high, the game quits and I get a message telling me that the program has performed an error and a log is being created.
