A freind of mine just bought a new mobo and chip and asked me install everything for them. . its an older asus mb a K7V 133 to be exact and they got a slot 1 amd 900mhz cpu with it. . i set all jumpers on the mb fine as i have done that many times.

Program to large to run in memory!!!

I have a question about opening up a file. It is a an application with a dos icon and is 238mb large. When I try to run it, Im assuming it will extract what is in it, I get a message in the cmd window that says the file is too larger to run in memory.

Win98se/Win2k Pro problem

I have had Win98se installed on my comp for over 2 years, a few months ago I installed Win2k Pro, everything was working great till one day we had a power outage while the comp was turned on. Now I can not start the comp using Win98se, I get a message about HIMEM.

Umm, i have a gf2-mx-400 and its an ok card not the best. Anyway, I play counter-strike alot and i used to get around 75-99 fps. but with the newer version i only get 33-75. I installed the new nvidida drivers version 29.

Win 2000 Pro And Half Life

Can anyone tell me why Half Life plays extra fast on W2k Pro? The graphics and sound are great. But when you run or shoot it is like you are running almost in fast fwd. Here are my specs. MSI ms-5169, K6-2 500, Aladin 5, Voodoo 5 5500 with last official w2k drivers, HL update 1110, W2k SP 3, DX 8.

Look in your UT 2003 SYSTEM directory and run BENCHMARK. EXE It seems that Benchmark. exe set's your UT2003. ini to defaults, so modifying it or changing your UT2003 settings will have no affect.
