Ok, this should have been first (sorry to those who I bore. . . ). How do you use the new XP Act (2. 4)? It doesn't have any. reg exporters. It only exports in xml and adds to it's administration database.

Could someone please help me here?? I have just installed Geoff Crammonds' Grand Prix 4 on my PC, and in a hurry because I just love these F1 games!!! :x It installed fine and even played ok, considering I have a slow machine for this heavy graphics game.

Adding memory locks up 2 games

Running 2k w/sp3 I went from 256 to 512 PC133 (on a PC100 system) memory and it caused 2 games to lockup. The MB is Soyo SY-6BA+IV with a Wintell BX440 chipset and a 450 PII. I ran a DOS based memory testing program on the box for 8-10 hours with 15 passes and they all passed.

I am having trouble with my Sims Game. I am am able to load the game, but it freezes at the blue livin large splash screen. I have tried the shortcut fix with -skip_intro, -skip_verify, -nodx6 -w, & -nosound.

Remembering customized column widths in Management Console

How can you have the O/S remember customized column widths when using any of the Windows management tools. The default widths are way too small especially under description. I go through and customize them, the next time I open up that panel they are all back to the lousy default width!.

heres what i got: laptop running 98SE desktop running XP both in same workgroup both can see eachother in the net. hood everything is fine right? question is: sometimes they dont talk/see eachother, and it takes a couple refreshes, sometimes even 10-20 minutes for it to finally just pop up in the net.
