I have windows 2000 compuers and customers set wallpapers from the website by right clicking them and by the option of Set as Wallpaper. . . . . I dont want the customers to set any wall papers on the Computer it should be completely disabled.

Recently, I was hit by Bugbear and it did some havoc on my PC (Win2kPro). It could have been a double-virus, actually, since Bugbear is not supposed to do such damage as it did. Anyway, I got it off, but ever since there has been an array of new problems.

Need help setting up VPN in XP... wont bind to my adapter

Hi, for some reaon I cannot get the VPN server to work in XP. When I try to bind the VPN server to my network adapter, I get the following result in event viewer: Unable to add the interface {9A5F4A74-5512-4E03-9B35-6160202F4069} with the Router Manager for the IP protocol.

Hello all, I just looked through every page here, and saw nothing on it. The game installs fine, but I get 'Insert CD I' error when I try to play, and CD I is in the drive! Switching CD's does nothing, nor does taking out CD I and reinserting it.

How to ghost a dual boot 98 and XP drive ??

Hey thanx for looking. I got a 80gb drive that i'd like to split into 2 partitions and have XP on 1 40gb NTFS partition and 98 on the other 40gb fat32 partition. Trouble is that when i imaged each partition i forgot to image the MBR and i lost the windows boot manager.

Hi, I JUST started self teaching myself Windows 2000 MCSE as of last night. I did a fresh install of Windows 2000 Server w/SP3 on my stand alone computer (P4-1. 8Ghz w/intel chipset). During the bootup I receive a message that says a service failed to activate and to check my EVENT Viewer.

Hi all I have some CAB files that I need to edit. Problem is, InstallShield CABs are not M$ compatible i. e. I can't open them with winzip or windows. I have tried this neat little program called i6comp, but it's not easy to master.

A different sort of refresh rate problem...

Can anyone tell me how I can add resolutions with refresh rates lower than 60Hz to Win2000/XP? I can do it on Windows98, but if I add any resolution with a refreshrate lower than 60Hz to the registry, the system ignores it.
