USB bandwidth reserves under XP

Is it possible to vary the 'fixed' amount of bandwidth that the system reserves for each USB port? I'm running a cable modem on USB, and also have a 4 USB port PCI card, and a MS keyboard with USB ports.

I have been visiting several computer hardware websites offering pre-built systems and the option of Windows 2000 Pro or Windows XP Pro. Hmmm, sound interesting. If XP is so rock solid then why the option of a 3 year old OS? Did I miss something.

Please go to and check out the post by Mok. He has been able to re-write the cdshock. exe to work under NT/2K/XP. Read the entire thread as it contains valuable info on how to run the game properly.

StyleXP? - not sure, but some of the icons downloads i got from that site where kinds cool, as well as many of the skins they used - but then their site crashed and they lost alot of stuff, not sure if they ever got it all back.

Hello. I just got a new work computer for a new employee. The computer is a Dell Celeron 1. 7 with 128 MB of Ram and Windows XP Home Edition and Office XP. It's connected to our network. I got into partitioning to easily seperate my harddrive and to make backing up/reformatting easy. But, I ended up making a partition that I no longer want. Here is what I want to change: On my backup 80 gig hardrive, I have 3 partitions.

I want to make a Office XP CD with SP2 but i want to do is have the cd ask for a key when i goto install office XP. When i do slipstream the setup bypasses the cdkey part. any help or links on how to do a slipstream cd that ask for a key would be nice.
