This modem installed and runs great in Win2k. The modem is based on the Motorola SM56 softmodem chipset, and as such is a softmodem (also known as "winmodem"). Since it was a softmodem (and a cheap one at that - $20), I didn't expect much from it, but it actually connects faster than my $80 Modem Blaster did!
