To make it run, right click on desktop icon and select "run as an administrator".
I do this but it fails to load while using vista

I have exactly the same problem.

The game installs fine, but upon running it says I have to be and administrator. Running it as admininstrator and trying various compatibility modes didn't word.
I tried to update it to the 1.02 patch, but it tells me the game is not installed.
