2 wav sources playing at once?

This is a discussion about 2 wav sources playing at once? in the Windows Hardware category; Hey, got a question here. In win2k for by SB16 ISA I can hear like mp3s and say icq sounds at the same time fine. But my friend has an AWE64 in win98 and he can't, only the mp3s will play. Any thoughts or ideas to get both playing? Any help appreciated.

Ive got the SB16PCI on my test system, works fine. Could be just cause its ISA. Could also be going bad too.
