+win2k +defragmenting +fat32 +rc3

This is a discussion about +win2k +defragmenting +fat32 +rc3 in the Windows Hardware category; I read somewhere that the problem with defragmenting in win2k for fat32 hd's is fixed in the RC3 release. Can someone confirm this? I got 250000 lost clusters last time I defragged my hd in win2k so I'm a little scared off.

OP
Impressive latency.

SHS, I dualboot along with win98 so I only have one ntfs HD; the one win2k is installed on. The others are fat32.

Ekstreme, the developers had a hard time defining the problem since it was really hard to reproduce, they could defrag a HD houndred times and everything would be fine. Just to get troubles the 101th time...
