3C450 Win2K compatibility?

This is a discussion about 3C450 Win2K compatibility? in the Windows Hardware category; On the compatibility list it says the NIC 3C450 is not compatible with Win2k. Does this mean it will never be compatible? Or do I have to wait for 3com to release new drivers?.
