3dfx tools
This is a discussion about 3dfx tools in the Windows Hardware category; Hi I cant seem to get the 3dfx tabs under display properties to come up Ive tried different drivers and tried doing a repair install once the drivers were installed. Does anyone have these tabs under win2k? Im using a 5500 pci.

You did install the 3dfx tools, right. I didn't remember them installing on their own.

Yup i did install em, they show up in the start menu under '3dfx Tools' but when i click them nothing loads Could this maybe be due to running the voodoo as a secondary card alongside the geforce?
Not sure.
Have you tried right-clicking on your desktop, going to Properties-->3dfx Tools tab?
That's the only other thing I can think of right now.

Yup, thats part of the problem there are no tabs.
*scratches head*
I'm perplexed.
Dunno. Try reinstalling them I guess. Not sure what else to do.
I guess check Add/Remove and see if they show up there, then go from there.

Woohoo! managed to get them working. It was something to do with the voodoo 5 being the secondary card. The way i was doing it was to disable the geforce and enable the voodoo, then install the drivers. That resulted in no tabs though. But if i enabled both cards then the tabs work. Thanks for your help brian
