accessing NTFS partition
This is a discussion about accessing NTFS partition in the Windows Hardware category; To cut a long story short, i have 2 drives: C is FAT with Win 95 installed, D: is NTFS with Win 2K installed. I lost all the information on my C: drive, which is also my boot drive, and can no longer boot to Win 2K or access my NTFS partition.

As i see it there are at least 2 options i have:
1. Some kind of boot disk so that i can boot into Win 2K.
2. A way of accessing my NTFS partition in Win 95.
Any help on the above, or any other ideas will be gratefully received as this is driving me crazy.
Thanks in advance.

Yes, there is a way of getting ntfs read/write support under Win9x, but you need certain files from the nt cd (suprise) to use it. the app is on chameleon's site ( www.win2kbox.cjb.net)
For getting in again, this is why people create emergency repair disks, and regularly back up their systems. Any way to get access now would also need a NT/w2k cd. Sorry man.

Just once, I'd like to see an elementary particle physicist use *ZOT* when referring to accelerator operations. Is that too much to ask?
