Acer 310U Scanner problems
This is a discussion about Acer 310U Scanner problems in the Windows Hardware category; Hello, I'm running Win2K professional edition. On Windows9x the system was able to detect my Acer 310U USB scanner correctly. But on Win2K I try to install the default drivers from MiraScan and they don't work, when i go to device management section it says that the driver is not properly installed.

I'm running Win2K professional edition [ English version ]. On Windows9x the system was able to detect my Acer 310U USB scanner correctly. But on Win2K I try to install the default drivers from MiraScan and they don't work, when i go to device management section it says that the driver is not properly installed. I'm sure that I did everything 100% correct.
Any idea?

ok this took me ages to get working but here goes
if u have EVER installed drivers other than Mira341U.zip then u will find it VERY difficult to get this to work i used mira340u.zip and that buggered everything
i would suggest getting those drivers - from me if u cant find them elsewhere - and if they dont work u will have to do a fresh install of windows
