Acer Prisa 610p scanner
This is a discussion about Acer Prisa 610p scanner in the Windows Hardware category; when ever i try using the Acer Prisa 610p scaner I get a error saying scaner not found or twain error. I downloaded the drivers but they do nothing any advice?.

Tried the same thing. Can't figure out what I am doing wrong. On top of the fact that the Acer US site has no info regarding the parallel scanners and win2k.
did you download the mini port drivers? http://www.api.com.tw/products/imaging/service/driver/Win95NT/Win2K-EPP.exe
Didn't work. I wonder if people are actually using the hardwaer or just reporting that Windows says that the device is there. Windows reports the device is functioning but it doesn't scan nor does the software find the device. under all other os its fine.

These drivers are for the acer 640p, acer dosn't even have a section for the 610's. I e-mailed acer about a mounth ago yet no response, guess they dont give a f**k about me
