I have a Gigabyte GA-5AA Ali Aladin V motherboard with bios updated to latest F3 revision, I have found it fully supports ACPI installation and works with only one problem, I have a K6-2 500 and for some reason windows detects the processor speed as being half the actual speed, the bios does display the correct speed at startup but in windows system information it says 251 Mhz. This wouldnt be too bad a problem but it makes most games run at twice the speend they are supposed too, which aint so good.

Does anyone have any ideas about this?

Ive tried everything i can think of, I know that installing as a Standard PC does correct the speed problem but them i dont get the power management which i find usefull, being able to let the computer hibernate and turn off is so usefull, but installing as a standard pc that wont work.
I would be gratefull for any help on this but i fear there may not be any solution that it is either a bug with windows or my hardware.
