ACPI and Win2K on EpoxK7A?

This is a discussion about ACPI and Win2K on EpoxK7A? in the Windows Hardware category; I'm getting a new Athlon shortly, hopefully on the Epox K7A, and noticed that that mobo supports 'selected ACPI' functions. If I remember correctly, Win2k loves/needs a lot of good ACPI support to be happy.

even if its not comatible enough you can disable acpi before installing anyway. You'll be able to tell if you com ports don't work and all your pci devices are on the same interupt!

ACPI isn't really that big a thing, although the hibernate function is quite good!
