ACPI on ASUS P2B
This is a discussion about ACPI on ASUS P2B in the Windows Hardware category; I do not have ACPI functions in windows 2000, such as suspend or hibernate. . . I use 1009 BIOS, and win2000 says I have an ACPI compliant computer in device manager. . . Furthermore, I have no monitor detected, it says standart monitor type.

And I don't have no monitor tab in device manager...
Does it come from my french RC2 of win2000, or is there anything to do?????
Tks

Try upgrading you bios for a start. 1009 is old as the hills! I'm using 1011 and there is 1012b out also on the German asus FTP site. I have no probs with my p2b-f, everything works fine

I am working with a P2B-S and BIOS x.11 and I have the problem (well, if it is one) that 5 devices use the same IRQ (SCSI, NW card, USB hub, grafic card, and another one). I can´t say that it gives me probs, butI don´t like it and I am not 100 % convinced with the performance - NT 4.0 was a worked bit faster.
Besides that everything does well, also the mentioned ACPI features
Have fun
