Adaptec ASPI update HELP!

This is a discussion about Adaptec ASPI update HELP! in the Windows Hardware category; Ok, Im trying to get my burner to fire up under Windows 2000 RC 1, I downloaded the Adaptec ASPI update and installed it, when i rebooted it came back to say that driver ASPI32. sys couldnt be loaded, I did a search and found that the file itself was empty.

Has anyone had this problem, or know how I can get the updated ASPI32.SYS file? or how to fix my current one?

Yep, I had this same problem. Go to http://webcheckup.adaptec.com/ecdc-win2k/ and check under "zero length aspi file". That fixed it for me!

If you have easy cd ceater be sure to get the patch for win2k on adaptec web page it worked for me fine.
