AGP bus speed

This is a discussion about AGP bus speed in the Windows Hardware category; I have a 3dlabs Oxygen Vx1 AGP video card on a Abit BX6-2 Motherboard. I run win2k. I installed some hardware detection programs (several) and they all say that i currently use AGP 1X speed. I contacted the support from ABit and 3Dlabs.

I have a 3dlabs Oxygen Vx1 AGP video card on a Abit BX6-2 Motherboard.

I run win2k.

I installed some hardware detection programs (several) and they all say that i currently use AGP 1X speed. I contacted the support from ABit and 3Dlabs. The oxygen vx1 should run in 1x 2x and 4x. And Abit told me the AGP bus speed was automatically detected in the BIOS. (i have latest drivers and bios)

So it should go at 2x bus speed...but it doesnt. There is no option in the bios to set the speed manually.
Does anyone has an idea how to solve this?
Is there maybe a way to edit the registry to force the agp bus speed to 2x ?

Hope you guys can help me out

see you!
