Aiptek Hyperpen: works with Win2k???

This is a discussion about Aiptek Hyperpen: works with Win2k??? in the Windows Hardware category; I have the Hyperpen 5000, Win2K Pro detects it automatically as a standard serial mouse, but the cursor jumps around like crazy when I try to use it. I tried loading the latest NT drivers, but they just hang my system during boot.

Anyone have better luck?

Try changing the cursor speed using the mouse icon in control panel.

OP
Yeah tried it, but since it's detecting my Hyperpen graphics tablet as a mouse, the lowest setting made my logitech mouse unusable, and the Hyperpen was still jumping all over the place

Hi,

I contacted Aiptek regarding Win2000 drivers for their graphic tablets. Here's their answer:

==========================
Dear Mr. Reichert,

Thank you for your inquiry. We do not offer Windows 2000 support at this time, however we will have drivers soon. Please check our website periodically for updates.

Thank you,

So I suppose we should wait some weeks before having drivers for this tablet.
