Any news on AMD Chipset and Ge Force 256
This is a discussion about Any news on AMD Chipset and Ge Force 256 in the Windows Hardware category; Ok - it's been a few weeks now and I'm getting a little pissy with haveing to use a V3 3000 I decided to go for it - Bought an Athlon, a Gigabyte 7ixe m/b and a Ge Force 256. Much quicker, but also much more unstable.

I decided to go for it - Bought an Athlon, a Gigabyte 7ixe m/b and a Ge Force 256.
Much quicker, but also much more unstable. I then found out after my parting of cash that W2K, AMD Chipsets and Ge Force's don't like each other.
AMD have been promising some new drivers but I haven't heard anything!!
Anyone any ideas?

OP
By the way - I'm using 5.22 Detonator drivers
Before anyone says anything, I have tried others with the same results

Go To Asus web site and download Agp Filter Driver 5.02 for Win2k. This is still beta, but its the latest and worked wonders for Matrox g400. Did you install this patch? This is for Asus K7M Board but will work fine seeing it's the same northbridge chipset. No crashes or BSOD after that.
