AOK with w2k
This is a discussion about AOK with w2k in the Windows Games category; Ive been trying to get Age of Empires 2 : Age of Kings working with win2k. And failing miserably. Im getting that stupid making a log error. I think it should be compatiable since it is listed on many win2k sites as compatiable.
Ive been trying to get Age of Empires 2 : Age of Kings working with win2k. And failing miserably. Im getting that stupid making a log error. I think it should be compatiable since it is listed on many win2k sites as compatiable. i have a TNT 2Ultra and am using Nvidias 3.65 though i have tried the other Nvidia drivers. Please dont tell me to look around the message board because I have!

I used the V1.0 no cd crack from the site above and it worked fine.
p.s.
Make sure you do a Full instal of the game(movie files and everything}

Thankyou I finally got it working!
I downloaded that hack and ran the regentry and now it works! w00py )
Thankyou m8 its good to see message board still work!
Im happy with win2k now ive got all 3 of my fave games working. Quake2, Unreal Tourny and AOK.

no problem i have been at this one for a few weeks.
I can run the game fine in win2000 except one problem, the screen sees way less things when i compare to under win98.
The resolution 1280 x 1024 in the game under win2000 is like 800 x 600 under win98.
The resolution 800 x 600 in the game under win2000 is like 320 x 240 under win98.
But the desktop resolution is fine as win98.
I think I am already using the latest driver from Nvidia, 3.75 for my creative labs TNT.
Any one can help me?
