ASPI in win2k
This is a discussion about ASPI in win2k in the Windows Software category; Im trying to rip CD Audio using Audio Catalyst or Audio Grabber in Win2k with no success. I assume i need to download an ASPI layer. The adaptec ASPI32. exe doesnt work as i dont have any adaptec products on my PC.
Im trying to rip CD Audio using Audio Catalyst or Audio Grabber in Win2k with no success. I assume i need to download an ASPI layer. The adaptec ASPI32.exe doesnt work as i dont have any adaptec products on my PC. I downloaded a "Symbios ASPI Driver" for NT4, installed but it still doesnt work. Would ASPI appear as a service (it doesnt) or do i manually need to edit registry ?

string, to get aspi i installed adaptec easycd creator. version 3.5 i think ... it installs aspi drivers that work just fine in audiocatalyst 2.0. It should be pretty easy to grab even a demo of esaycd ...
btw i'm running win2k pro 2183, worked on 2128 as well...
