Asus gives my mouse sudden stops

This is a discussion about Asus gives my mouse sudden stops in the Windows Hardware category; I just installed my new Asus A7A mainboard and now my mouse is acting weird. . but I don't think it is the mouse. The mouse pointer just stops all the sudden. . but then continues like normal. . and stops.

Can anyone help me out? What should I do?
