I have run both an Asus P2B-D *and* an Asus P2B-DS. Both work perfectly under windows 2000. You may want to check what video/sound cards you have. SB Live and Aureal Vortex2 based cards do not work worth a damn on SMP systems.

Oh, and the SB Live rocks on an SMP machine, using both the native W2K drivers, and the new beta of LiveWare.
