Asus P3V4X bios update
This is a discussion about Asus P3V4X bios update in the Customization Tweaking category; Anyone knows anything about the 1006. 003 file for the Asus P3V4X mobo? Should it be renamed to 1006. bin ? Or should it be used as is with aflash. exe ? This is my very first Asus mobo (my two first ones were excellent DFI which i knew how to flash).

So long as you got it from the ASUS website (which is strange because it says the latest update is 1005. Goto http://www.asus.com.tw/products/motherboard/bios.html for more information)
just use it as is on a boot disk with Aflash.exe and the new BIOS file. Remember: backup a copy of your current BIOS file.
