7200RPM or higher

Either 2x 45GB IBM 7,200rpm ATA-100 or 2x 60GB IBM 7,200rpm ATA-100.
You can't beat those IBM units.

I also recommend the IBM Drives as well as the Maxtor 7200 rpm ATA100 drives. Also what card are going to use to run your array? I have 2 Abit Hot Rod Pro 100 cards in my system now and they are working flawlessly with WinME, 2k, and XP.
