Ok i also have a graphics annhilator and well heres my specs 500 amd k7 300 watt power supply fic sd11 motherboard 256 ram i've installed win multiple times and switched the ram around to no avail.

1. Set Ram memory settings to the maximum in your bios and see if that fixes your problems.
2. Update your bios to the latest version if you haven't already.
3. Update your video card drivers to the latest version.
4. Make sure video card is firmly in the AGP slot....also make sure all other cards in your computer are firmly in their slots.
5. Put each IDE device on it's own power cord connector.
6. Go to this website to learn how to flash the bios of your Geforce to the latest version http://www.xs4all.nl/~bmsmit/
7. Make sure your case temperature is not getting too high. An easy way to verify this would be to leave your case off and then try to use your computer. If your computer still locks up...then obiviously this is not the problem.
8. Make sure the PCI slot right next to your AGP slot is empty. Also read your motherboard book to figure out which PCI slots share IRQ's, Which support bus mastering and which do not.
