hi ppl,
does anyone got the same probz or know how to fix it :
it only happens sometimes but when I launch HalfLife and launch an internet game or if I try to close the Creative WebCam3 controller... => it simply reboots my pc ... like if i turned it off then immediately ON ! nice ...
in fact, I got an ASUS P3V4x mobo (bios 1004), 256megs of RAM 7ns, celeron @450 (100mhz), ASUS TNT v3400 16megs, RealMagic H+, SbLive with liveware 2k (off course ), dlink 528CT and an Adaptec 2904 SCSI adapter ...
thx for your help ...

You can tell W2K how to behave in case there is an error it cannot handle. You can choose a reboot and/or various memory "saves" (dont know how its called in the english version...).
You can change this if you go into the System Ops menu (right click my computer and then properties or so) and then the last tab.
Hope this helps...

OP
yeah, I know, already tried, ...
but the problem is that it isn't really a reboot ... it's more something like a HARD reset (power off then power on) ... strange ... maybe my mobo locked itself into a safe mode and reset the pc ... dunno ... got all my periph. on irq 9 ... thanks to acpi
